Puppy Socialisation and Confidence Building Session - 45 mins

For puppies up to 5 months, who have had their first vaccinations.
Puppies not fully vaccinated can be carried as this is still positive socialisation.
This is not a 'puppy party', but run calmly and positively with lots of enrichment activities in a safe and positive environment to meet other young puppies and owners.
First session includes a goodie bag, a FurryTails puppy information booklet and lots of invaluable advice from a qualified, accredited, positive reward based trainer.

6 week puppy classes , where you will learn everything you need for you and your puppy's training to set you both up for success
6 week Puppy Foundation Course

Puppy Classes - Foundation level - up to 5 months
You and your puppy will learn - age appropriate invaluable life skills including:
mouthing/biting, toilet training, sleeping through the night, confidence building, road safety, how to prevent stealing items, loose lead walking, recall, impulse control exercise, canine enrichment/mental stimulation, calmness, settle to mat, plus lots more.
6 week Follow on Puppy Plus Course
£110
More focus & loose lead walking, recall games, emergency stops, engagement and impulse control games and all round distractions.
We will go through adolescent problems with your dogs,
plus enrichment/mental stimulation, building more calmness and confidence.
All in a fun and positive environment, taking your dog to their next level of training.
This follow on course is for anyone who has completed the FurryTails puppy course, training/behavioural classes or session
1-1 Puppy Programs
These programs are suitable for puppies up to the age of 5 months. If your puppy is over 5 months old, please contact me to discuss the most suitable program for your dog's training and behavioural needs.
Puppy Program 1 - one session - 2 hours

This session is the very foundation of your puppy training journey, teaching you and your puppy invaluable life skills, all through fun and positive reward based training.
Puppy Program 2 - four sessions - 5 hours
£300
Four sessions comprising program 1, PLUS three extra 1 hour sessions with more training exercises including:
Reflex to name game, eye contact, road safety, sit, sit stay, down and down stay, preventing jumping up, settle to mat, nose touch, swap/exchange game, loose lead walking and recall, impulse control games such as leaving food or objects.
Additional Puppy Sessions - 1 hour

I believe that with the right advice from the beginning of your journey with your puppy and setting you and your puppy up for success through positive reward based training and mental stimulation, you will have a happier more content adult dog less likely to have training and behavioural issues.

- Pre-consultation questionnaire.
- I may request that your puppy/dog has a vet check
- In-depth consultation to identity training or behavioural requirements.
- First session will be approx. 2 hours (at your home or park, whichever is more suitable)
Second Session:
- One hour tailored 1-1 training / behavioural session.
5 session Training / Behavioural Program

Comprising the 2 hour initial Training and Behavioural consultation as above, plus 4 x 1 hour tailored 1-1 training / behavioural sessions

Canine Enrichment Session
Did you know 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hours lead walk.

I will go into detail on how and why dogs need mentally stimulating throughout their lives and how it can help to prevent a whole host of behavioural problems.
Your dog will get to try a large variety of enrichment activities and fun easy exercises that will fit into your everyday lives whilst adding huge mental and physical benefits.

Recall and Loose Lead Courses
These two courses are very popular. Suitable for all dogs over 5 months as long your dog is comfortable around other dogs and people. Includes full recap notes, mini training videos after each session WhatsApp support for the duration of the course. A goodie bag full of healthy treats and money off vouchers. Lifetime access to FurryTails Private Facebook Members Support Group. FurryTails certificate upon completion of the course. The classes are all very informal and fun
Recall 3 week course

This 3 week course covers everything you’ll need to have your dog staying focused and returning to you on walks, all through positive reward based methods.
